After following the trails west and turning north along the 680, the course travels OVER the 680 on Las Positas Boulevard to reach Foothill High School. Following a loop through the Foothill campus, the course returns over the 680 to re-join the trail network. A quick pass through the Pleasanton Sports Park is followed by a tour of the Birdland and Pleasanton Valley neighborhoods, passing by Harvest Park Middle School on the way to the Amador Valley High School campus. The home stretch returns down Del Valle before finishing at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.
